1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Huntsville Locksmiths website and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing our website or submitting a service request, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

Huntsville Locksmiths operates exclusively as a lead generation and referral platform. We do not perform locksmith services, key cutting, lock installation, or any other locksmith-related work. Our sole function is to receive your service inquiry and connect you with independent, third-party licensed locksmith contractors ("Contractors") operating in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

2. No Service Provider Relationship

IMPORTANT: Huntsville Locksmiths is not a locksmith company and is not a party to any service agreement between you and a Contractor. We do not employ, supervise, direct, or control any Contractor. Any work performed, pricing agreed upon, or disputes arising from services rendered are solely between you and the Contractor you choose to engage.

By submitting a service request, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• Your inquiry and contact information will be shared with one or more independent third-party Contractors.
• Contractors are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Huntsville Locksmiths.
• We make no representations or guarantees regarding the quality, safety, timeliness, pricing, or legality of any Contractor's services.
• All payments for services are made directly between you and your chosen Contractor. Huntsville Locksmiths does not collect or process any payments from customers.
• We may receive compensation from Contractors in connection with referrals made through our platform.

3. Locksmith Industry Notice — Contractor Verification

The locksmith industry has a known prevalence of deceptive advertising and unlicensed operators nationwide. We strongly urge all customers to take the following steps before allowing any Contractor to perform work:

• Ask the Contractor for their name, business name, and physical business address before they arrive.
• Request proof of identification and a written estimate before authorizing any work.
• Be wary of prices that increase significantly upon arrival compared to the quoted amount.
• Verify that the Contractor arrives in a marked vehicle with proper identification.

Note: Alabama does not currently have a statewide mandatory licensing requirement specifically for locksmiths. However, Contractors may be required to hold a general business license under local Huntsville or Madison County ordinances. You are encouraged to verify credentials independently before engaging any Contractor.

4. Consent to Be Contacted

By submitting a service request through our website, you expressly provide your written consent to be contacted by Huntsville Locksmiths and/or our Contractor partners via telephone calls, text messages (SMS/MMS), or email — including through automated dialing technology or pre-recorded messages — at the phone number and email address you provide. Consent is not required as a condition of receiving any services. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

5. No Guarantee of Contractor Availability

Submitting a service request does not guarantee that a Contractor will be available in your area, will contact you, or will provide a quote. We reserve the right to share your inquiry with multiple Contractors simultaneously.

6. Emergency Services Disclaimer

If you are in an emergency situation requiring immediate assistance (such as a vehicle or home lockout), we recommend also contacting local emergency services if personal safety is at risk. We cannot guarantee response times from any Contractor and are not liable for any harm arising from delays in service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Huntsville Locksmiths shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to: (a) the acts, omissions, or negligence of any Contractor; (b) any services performed or not performed by a Contractor; (c) disputes between you and a Contractor regarding payment, workmanship, or scheduling; or (d) your use of or reliance upon our Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of this Service shall not exceed fifty dollars ($50.00).

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Alabama, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

10. Alabama Consumer Protection Notice

Alabama law (Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Code of Alabama § 8-19-1 et seq.) prohibits deceptive acts or practices in trade or commerce. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any rights you may have under applicable Alabama consumer protection statutes.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will become effective upon posting to our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our Service following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
